Edusei Foundation has commissioned its clinic that it is constructed for the Kumasi Childrens home in Sepetember 2016. The Kumasi Children’s Home established in 1965 cares for children in need, in and around the Ashanti Region. The facility houses about hundred and thirteen (113) children. The project undertaken by the Foundation is the first of its kind in the Kumasi Metropolis. The project started in June 2016 and it is about 75% complete. The facility when completed will consist of a consulting room, an office store, a ward, two (2) washrooms and an accomodation facility for the health officer. Edusei Foundation was founded by Dr. Kwame Bawuah Edusei, a US based medical practitioner, philanthropist and former diplomat who has committed his life as a private citizen to champion the cause of the underprivileged especially the youth and women in society. Since its inception Edusei Foundation has made several donations to orphanages all over Ghana including the Kumasi Children’s Home.
